Malaysia’s First- Ever Art Auction
Aug 1 – 8 2010 – Art Auction Malaysia is organised by Henry Butcher Art Auctioneers Sdn Bhd, with the support of the National Art Gallery and BrandLaureate. Henry Butcher?s auction of Malaysian Modern and Contemporary Art Collection is the largest and first full fledge auction dedicated exclusively to Malaysian art. The collection features 63 artworks of Malaysia?s finest pioneer, veteran and contemporary artists including Datuk Ibrahim Hussein, Dato? Chuah Thean Teng, Yong Mun Sen, Dato? Mohd. Hoessein Enas, Yusof Ghani, Lim Kim Hai, Dato? Sharifah Fatimah Zubir, Khoo Sui Hoe, Chang Fee Ming, Tan Choon Ghee, Peter Liew, Jalaini Abu Hassan, Yee I-Lann and Kow Leong Kiang. The auction is taking place on August 8 at 3.30pm. Registration of bidders will start from 2.00pm
